Meet the Team

For almost 30 years, Fetner & Hartigan has had the honor of working with the most talented, caring, and warm human beings on this earth. Just ask any of our patients. Our staff takes it personally that your experience with us will be efficient, comfortable and “more than is expected.” These ladies will hold your hand, want to see photos of your dog and your grandkids and can answer any question regarding your treatment, no matter how complicated. We love them dearly!

Connie – Surgical Assistant

I started my dental career in 1971 and I have been with Fetner & Hartigan since 1991. I am so fortunate to work with a team who love dentistry and want to provide the best care for our patients. I have traveled to some very interesting destinations, including Thailand, Italy, and England. I hope to get to Ireland. I enjoy the sun, the beach, and all outdoor activities that represent Florida—a great place to live! I look forward to getting to know you!

Robin – Administrative Assistant

I have been employed with Drs. Fetner and Hartigan for nearly 23 years and currently hold the position of insurance coordinator. I’ve always said I have “teeth in my blood,” because my grandfather and stepfather were dentists and my mother was a dental assistant. I have been married for 37 years. My husband and I spend our free time riding our motorcycles and camping.

Linda – Registered Dental Hygienist

I have always been interested in dental care from a very early age. My mother was one of ten children and the only time they went to the dentist was when they had a toothache. The only solution for them was extraction! Over the years I have seen my mother suffer with her denture problems. I made up my mind that I would do whatever I had to do to keep my teeth. That’s why I became a dental hygienist! I am able to empathize with my patients due to my own dental woes.

Jamie – Surgical Assistant

I am a Terry Parker High graduate and Jax native, and have been with Fetner & Hartigan since 1992 when my husband served in the Navy. We have two kids and two beautiful grandchildren. I feel extremely fortunate and proud to be part of a team with such a trusted and respected periodontist and the best group of co-workers and friends anyone could ask for. Caring for our patients’ dental needs is why I love being a dental assistant. I hope to do so for many more years to come, with the best periodontal practice around!

Judy – Administrative Assistant

I am blessed to have been a part of the front desk staff with Drs. Fetner and Hartigan for more than 20 years. I enjoy working with a team of doctors and staff who are passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health, and who replace missing teeth with dental implants.

Julie – Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie, who would like to be known as the "head hygienist", started her hygiene career with Fetner & Hartigan in 1995. Prior to that she was a dental assistant for several years. She is meticulous in her work and we always say she “thinks like a periodontist.” She and her partner have four boys ages 5 to 9 years old. She says she comes to work for relaxation.

Barbara – Surgical Assistant

I have been proud to help keep Fetner & Hartigan rolling smoothly since I joined the team in 2006. My expertise has come from nearly 30 years in dentistry and I hope our patients have benefited from my experience. I am usually the first one in and one of the last to leave, but that’s how I like it!

Vicki – Surgical Assistant

I have been with Drs. Fetner and Hartigan since 2014, but I have been in dentistry for more than 20 years. I enjoy patient care and helping to put patients at ease before a surgical procedure very much. Outside of dentistry, I spent 14 years in a Navy construction battalion working as a heavy equipment operator. I have visited 11 different countries and love travel and trying different foods. Before moving to Jacksonville, the longest I had ever lived in one place was four years! I guess you could say I found my home here in Jacksonville. Gardening and photography are both passions of mine, although I prefer traditional photography to the digital kind.
